MY TOP 10 SHOOTING GUARDS IN THE NBA

Disclaimer: As the title says it is my top 10 list. Any player or team ranking would always be a debate and disagreement, which i'm proudly open to. Ranking is mostly based off last season. As for positions I let ESPN.com decide that.

10. TERRY ROZIER
This 10th spot took me the longest of them all being so many good 2 guards in the league, but here I have Scary Terry. A consistent bucket and solid defender for the Hornets. He's an elite shooter taking eight attempts per game making them at an almost forty percent clip. There's not too many shooters like that.

9. SHAI GILGEOUS-ALEXANDER

Classified as a 2 guard according to ESPN I have Shai at 9. One of the best young guards in the league. When it comes to shot creating he's one of the best and most fun to watch. Not the worst passer but just a solidly all around young guard who's no where near his peak yet.

8. CJ MCCOLLUM

CJ is one of the most underrated in the league when it comes to shot creating and getting a bucket. Solid team defender. An elite shooter taking nine attempts per game making them at a forty percent clip. Before his foot injury he was playing the best basketball of his career. Undersized his whole career for a 2 guard but he gets the job done and is one of the best bucket getters in the league.

7. KLAY THOMPSON

A hard player to rank not playing since the 2019 NBA Finals but Klay is expected to be back sometime this upcoming season. One of if not the best 3&D guy in the league as yes as of right now "on one leg" I'd rank Klay at 7.

6. ZACH LAVINE

One of the best scorers in the game Zach Lavine. Making his first all star appearance this year Zach has put the league on notice for being just more than a dunker. Excited to see what he does next year finally having some help.

5. DEVIN BOOKER

Tough to me to put Book at what feels low coming off his first Finals appearance. One of the best in the game when it comes to footwork and space creation. My only criticism is his three point shooting at least in the playoffs and finals but I know he will improve.

4. DONOVAN MITCHELL

At the 4 spot I had to put Spida here. Every single postseason this man just takes his game to another level series after series. No matter what defender assigned to him he got the job done. Really wanted to put him higher but how Utah is constructed he's their only consistent starting offensive option.

3. BRADLEY BEAL

Bradley Beal consistently being one of the greatest scorers in the league. Solid rebounder and passer for what it's worth. Still relatively young I'm hoping Beal changes his mind one day and goes to a contender to start playing meaningful games. Though at the same time I'm excited what the Wizards do next season with Beal leading this post Westbrook trade team.

2. JAMES HARDEN

For the first time ever I'm putting Harden at two on a SG list but coming off the hamstring injury I felt it was right. Technically being the point guard facilitator for the Nets he won't bee putting up any crazy scoring games but he does not need to now, which is good.

1. PAUL GEORGE

At the 1 spot I have Paul George one of the most overhated players in the league. Played very very well this postseason even when Kawhi went down put up a great fight against the Phoenix Suns. I could be having a different discussion if Kawhi had not gone down. But shoutout to P for playing so well this season I hope he keeps it up.
