TRADE TARGETS FOR MALCOLM BROGDON
With trades rumors and trades starting up across the league, a player expected to be moved this offseason and pretty soon is Malcolm Brogdon of the Indiana Pacers. With the Pacers getting a steal of a trade in Tyrese Haliburton, they can now move on from Brogdon to continue to fully start their rebuild. Brogdon is a good fundamentally sound point guard who can really do it all. Any contending team or team with an open point guard position should be calling Indy about Malcolm.

1. BOSTON CELTICS
With the Boston Celtics coming off their finals loss they will obviously be looking to improve in any way. The Celtics made a huge turnaround after the all star break but another problem that was put under a huge spotlight in the finals is their inability to game manage, facilitate, and control the ball. The Celtics have needed a traditional point guard and high quality facilitator for a while now. Boston should be calling Indiana often about Malcolm as I believe he fits the Celtics. He fits Ime Udoka's defensive first mindset excellently and with Brogdon at the 1 while he is not some sexy well known name he can be a guy that comes in for them and fits immediately, being a guy who can defend, shoot, rebound, but especially pass and playmake for guys like Tatum and Brown.

2. LA CLIPPERS
Another team in a similar situation as the Celtics, the Clippers need a facilitating and playmaking point guard and have been linked to Malcolm Brogdon as well. The Clippers most likely will not if or many picks to entice the rebuilding players but they have several contracts and players they could expend to get a deal done. Ty Lue would make the best offensively especially out of Malcolm Brogdon and I would imagine having him back to his 50/40/90 self. But, I definitely see the Clippers in the Brogdon sweepstakes with the need of a true point guard.

3. WASHINGTON WIZARDS
Personally my favorite potential destination for Malcolm Brogdon, the Washington Wizards. The perfect point guard to pair with Bradley Beal and could possibly be acquired to assure Beal remains a Wizard. Being linked to Washington as well, Brogdon would be going to a better situation than Indiana. I see Washington aggressively pursuing Brogdon with them currently having a big hole in the point guard position.

4. NEW YORK KNICKS
Another team linked to Malcolm Brogdon that needs to fill the hole in their point guard position, the Knicks. After a disappointing season from New York I expect them to be pursuing Brogdon as well. Washington and New York both have picks to entice Indiana as well. Malcolm is also a very Thibs type of point guard who I am sure he would love to have. If the Knicks miss out on a guard in the draft or anywhere else in the trade market, their eyes should be set on Brogdon for sure.
