Trade Scenarios for Terrence Ross

 TRADE SCENARIOS FOR TERRENCE ROSS

Terrence Ross is one of the more underrated role players in the league playing in Orlando for the past couple seasons. Only making $11M dollars next season I see just about every team at least having interest in T Ross. Being able to score, shot create, and defend with size and with hopes of being moved to a contender this offseason.

1. LOS ANGELES LAKERS

Obviously after the disastrous season the Lakers had this offseason will be, or at least should be, very eventful. A player like T Ross would fit well alongside Lebron, AD, and Russ rather it be starting or off the bench. Ross is also a very solid and good team defender which the Lakers lacked this season and could use. A player like Talen Horton Tucker matches perfectly contract wise and situation wise to me and I think there is a deal to be made there.

2. PORTLAND TRAILBLAZERS

Another team expected to have a huge offseason this summer, the Portland Trailblazers. Acquiring T Ross gives PO a good guard tandem of Dame, Ross, and Simons going into next season with whatever free agent acquisition they have. Portland has the assets to pull the trade off. And if Portland is going into the "contending" direction Ross would be a great rotational piece for them.  T Ross is also from Portland so that'd be cool.

3. DENVER NUGGETS

With lingering injuries to Michael Porter Jr and Jamal Murray, Nikola Jokic could really use any type of consistent help on the perimeter and T Ross can provide that. Getting T Ross gives opposing teams another guy to gameplan on and a player you can not help off of on defense. Jokic makes any player around him better, but having T Ross who is very athletic as well can be a great cutter, shooter, and shot creator for Denver.

4. UTAH JAZZ

After another postseason of failure for the Utah Jazz we should be expecting a big offseason. Now rather they keep both Donovan or Rudy or split up either I see T Ross being a perfect target for them. Will Ross be the franchise saver Utah needs definitely not but he could be a good defender and another shot creator outside of Donovan Mitchell. And especially if Jordan Clarkson wants out this summer, Utah should be looking to trade for T Ross who can provide what Clarkson did but with defense and size which is what Utah needs desperately.
