MY TOP 10 CENTERS IN THE NBA
Disclaimer: As the title says it is my top 10 list. Any player or team ranking would always be a debate and disagreement, i'm proudly open to. Ranking is mostly based off last season. As for positions I let ESPN.com decide that.

10. CHRISTIAN WOOD
C Wood is one of my favorite centers in the league, coming from the g league not given much opportunity on the teams he was on then got one with the Detroit Pistons having a breakout year which earned him a solid contract with the Rockets which I believe he will get a bigger one very soon. A great shooter for his position, solid defender, solid passer, and good rebounder.
9. JONAS VALANCIUNAS
JV is one of the most underrated players and bigs in the league. When people talk about the Grizzlies it's usually just about Ja Morant and the young core and it is forgotten that they have Valanciunas. Throughout the season he was unanimously their 2nd best player and some games their best player. Just a good back to basket big who’s very fundamentally sound, good rebounder, and solid passer. Has shown flashes as well of spacing the floor offensively.

8. CLINT CAPELA
One of if not the best rebounder in the league and a good paint defender in Clint Capela. Always has been a great lob threat and he is a perfect fit on this Hawks team.
This feels very low for a player as high of potential as Ayton being a for No.1 overall pick but due to him being on a win now team with how his team is constructed playing with Chris Paul Ayton has to be more focused on just playing elite level defense and being a good lob threat and rebounder. I do believe he has a lot of potential to be a great post scorer and good mid ranger scorer, just has not gotten the full opportunity/reps with Phoenix. And the times that he has, it was not preferable over a play for CP or Devin Booker.

6. RUDY GOBERT
This feels very low for the best defensive center in the league in my opinion but I had to put Rudy at 6. Obviously a great rim runner and lob threat guy and an elite rebounder as well. But this past postseason his flaws came to light. Not just in the infamous Clippers series but the series against the Memhis Grizzles as well were they needed Donovan Mitchell to win that series against an 8 seed. Offensively he can be limited.

5. NIKOLA VUCEVIC
At 5 is one of the most offensive versatile centers in the league in Vucevic. Vuc can shoot, pass, and rim run all at a great level for his position. His defense throughout the years is not great but it is solid enough.

4. KARL ANTHONY-TOWNS
KAT is at 4. Everyone knows he is an elite shooter but I think he has gotten better on the defensive side off the ball to at least average. Great rebounder and very underrated passer. Knowing KAT's story I hope everyone is rooting for him and the Twolves to have any type of success this upcoming season and sending positive vibes his way.

3. BAM ADEBAYO
This 3 spot was the toughest for me personally. Despite the bad series against the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks I have Adebayo at 3. Has the potential to win DPOY while also being a good passer and has shown flashes of being a capable good mid range shooter and off the dribble action. His perimeter defense is the best out of any centers by far.

2. JOEL EMBIID
The runner up candidate for this years MVP, Joel Embiid. The most dominant post score in todays nba and in my opinion has one of the best mid ranges in the game, all while being an elite defender too. As it has been for Joel's entire career really health/being in shape in his only flaw.
1. NIKOLA JOKIC
And the MVP of this past season, The Joker. Due to being in such a low market in Denver obviously everyone knows of Jokic but not many watch or talk about him. But Jokic basically being the point guard of his team is very impressive. His defense has gotten much better as well. Keeping Denver afloat even without their star point guard in Jamal Murray.
